Non-returnable items or services:
- Finished websites when the client received the files by FTP, Box.com link or hosting access.
- Website service when has been paid partially and the half or more of the project has been done.
- Domain payments when has been transferred out of Plitz.
- Setup fees of any kind.
- To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, or your account details to check your orders.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Hosting & Domain services after a specific time. More details will be given below.
- SEO and eMarketing payments after one week or more.
- When a website work, including design and/or development, has more than 5 hours process.
- Maintenance Service stopped before the end of the period.
We will review the reason why you are requesting a refund; we will send you an email to notify of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 15 business days.
Your service will be suspended when a refund is approved.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
If you bought a service with a promo code, you will receive a refund according to the amount you paid and not the full price of the item or service.
Refunds policies according to type of service
Hosting & Domain
We will refund the amount left on the period you contracted. For example, if you get a service for one year but you are asking for a refund after 6 months, you will get 50% of the amount you paid in the beginning.
We are not responsible for any file or domains pointed to your hosting service after a refund is processed and the service is suspended, you have to make sure you have a backup before request a refund.
Any digital service is totally perfect, but we work hard to give you the best possible service.
Before requesting a refund
If it’s because you are having technical issues, we recommend to open a ticket, and we will resolve your situation in less than 24 hours. Besides that our experience tells us that many times you have issues on your end since we are under constant supervision of our systems to ensure your satisfaction and success.
We will refund, as in the Hosting & Domain Service, only the period left on your service after you started. If you request a refund within 72 hours and haven’t use any of the tools, you will receive a total amount refund.
We refund 100% only if you paid a web service but didn’t start the process. When you receive your first design proposal any refund will depend on the number of hours already spent on your project, the more advanced is the process, the percentage will decrease.
We will study your request as was stated before. We do our best every day for our clients, but we can understand that we can fail and that is a reason why we can approve a refund, for example, if we don’t honor our delivery promise.
If we know you are taking the files from our servers in case you have a hosting service with us, and you request a refund, is very likely your refund won’t be approved, please avoid taking any file out of your hosting until you are totally satisfied with your website.
A refund is less likely to happen when you are using your server. Still, we will consider and study the reasons why you are asking a refund when we already started a web design and development.
Advanced and eCommerce
This part is very similar to the all the policy for basic websites. The difference is that we will have to wait up to 20 business days in case we are using third parties plugins or extensions for special requests you asked in the beginning, this is because we will have to negotiate the reason why we are requesting the refund with the other company.
SEO & Maintenance
No refunds are available for this kind of service. It has to be an extreme reason, and we will have to study your case.
The work done on this type of service will impact your website in a right way for long periods or even forever or until you create a new site, and these services start the process on day one.
